Mexico is in an all-out war with drug cartels. They are some of the most dangerous people in the world and will stop at nothing to make their money. They've killed nearly 50,000 people since President Felipe Calderon began his military action against the cartel in 2006.

In the 1980's and early '90's, Mexico's cartel joined forces with Pablo Escobar and the Colombian Cartel. Colombia first paid the Mexicans in cash, but later paid in 35-50 percent of whatever product was being shipped.
